Roman by birth the author took her license as a professional guide in 1971. Since then she has been conducting tours of the Eternal City and its surroundings in Italian, English and French. She also conducts regular visits of the Vatican Museums and Gardens.
The inspiration to write this book came to her at the suggestion of her many customers wanting to learn more on the art of mosaic without burdening themselves with too in depth academic publications.
She hopes of having filled a gap and her wish is that the book will prove an enjoyable reading for everyone.
